Morgan Waxing Day Today

After my run out to Danesfield House yesterday I gave the Green Goddess a Wash as it was covered in dust from the winter storage even though it is kept under cover. Normally before washing a Morgan, Oil is run into the piping along the seams. When Waxing I do not do this as the oil will contaminate the Waxing.

Being another fine dry sunny day this morning, followed by an overcast afternoon it was a ideal day to give the Morgan a coat of my Autoglym High Definition Wax.

Above is a photo of the whole kit which I was fortunate to buy for the Promotional Price of £20 (normally £36 to £40) at a Brooklands special weekend. It contains the tub of wax reckoned to do about 50 Morgan Waxings two Silicone Foam application sponges and an E Cloth for polishing off.

The Wax has been Applied here. You may just be able to see the Swirling Motion used to apply the Wax which is now drying for 20 mins.
