The Parking Plan

Cars will approach along this road in the photo below.

Parking Depending on how the Parking Team decide to utilise the parking spaces.
the first 114 cars will all Turn Left and pass through the Open Gates into one of the nine areas of the Great court.

The Grassed Area in this Photo is what I have called The Left Ha Ha.

It will contain Two Rows of Cars stretching almost as far as the trees.
The area in front of the Trees in the distance is allocated for the Blenheim Palace Champagne Van.

These Gates will be Open providing our entrance to the Great Court

The Parking Plan for The Great Court

The Central Drive of the Great Court North Section
The Central Drive of the Great Court has a North and a South section with a single road crossing it at the Signpost.
Cars will be parked on either side of this drive - 15 cars on each side facing inwards.
The Gravel Areas behind the Gutters are not to be used.

The Central Drive of The Great Court South Section
This is the South Side where another two rows of 15 cars on each side also facing inwards.
There are also four side sections - Two North and Two South. We may only use three of these as The Dukes Household use the other one.

This is The South, Right Hand Side Drive,
where another 15 cars will reverse to the left side low wall.

The North Right Hand Side Drive,
where 16 cars will be located, reversed towards the right side low wall.
There will be no vans or cars parked there on our day.

This is The South, Left Hand Side Drive,
on the other side of teh court where another 15 cars will reverse to the right side low wall.

The unusable North Left Hand Side
where The Duke's Family park.
Should the Duke be absent on the day we may be able to (but unlikely) use this area for another 15 cars.

This Corner is on the Left Side of the Gates
where I have allocated four cars to go in fan form reversed to the wall.

This Corner is on the Right Side of the Gates
where I have allocated four more cars to go in fan form reversed to the wall.

The next area to choose to fill is the prerogative of The Parking Team

The Great Court Drive
The Drive
slopes down from the Ornate Gates to the Bridge over the Lakes
Using both sides it will take 90 cars if parked in Le Mans format.
( with the rear 50% of the cars parked on the grass as recommended by Blenheim Palace).
If parking is Straight as at Waddesdon then it will only take 78 cars.

The Area to the Right of the Gates
where two rows of Right Ha Ha Parking will go as far as the trees.
MSCC OxMog Centre will place a Gazebo under those trees for their 40th Anniversary Gathering.
Entrance to this area needs to be between the Bollard and The Gates.

The Parking Plan for The Right Ha Ha Area.

To the South East Side of the Entrance Drive
where the last Third Row of the Right Ha Ha parking will go if needed.
This area will also form half of the Trades Stands Area.

The rest of The Trades Stands are located on the other side of the Drive.
Entrance to both areas will be between the Bollard and the First Parked Cars.

The Area to the Left of the Gates
where the Two Rows of Left Ha Ha parking will go.
Entrance to this area will be between the Bollard and The Gates.
The length of the rows are limited by the trees and the Champagne Van area.

The Area allocated for use by The Champagne Van Area.

The Location of The Champagne Van Area.

To the South Side of The Entrance Drive
where the Last Third row of the Left Ha Ha parking area will be located.

The Large Area behind this row falls away too steeply to be considered for Parking use.

This is the All Morgans' Day Parking Plan as it stands.
