Sunday August 19th Ley Hill, Bucks. Classic Car Show

Ley Hill is a small village just to the east of Chesham in Buckinghamshire. Each year for the last five years a Classic Car Show has been held on the Village Green around the edge of the Cricket Pitch.

Ley Hill is a free to enter show with bucket collections to aid the village community funds.
I actually prefer going to this type of village green mixed marque car show to the Morgan Only Club Events.

Each year the attendance gets bigger and bigger such that this year when we arrived at 12.30pm there was no shaded car parking available and we had taken 'digby' our dog with us.

The nearest we could get to the trees was to park in front of the Cricket Screen with the Morgan poking out into the access strip.

We were able to pitch our Umberella Tent straddling the frame of the screen allowing Digby to be in the shade on what was a very hot day.

Here are a selection of the cars on show at Ley Hill.
