Terry & Frank Visit The White Hart in Cadnam, Hampshire.

Terry & Frank Visit The White Hart in Cadnam, Hampshire.

Terry and I were meeting to discuss our recent fundraising in support of the MOG, MMC & Combat Stress 2022 Calendar project.  Over a nice lunch of course.

We have had some fantastic results with Terry's drive to gain sponsors to help finance the project and excellent results selling 64 Donated Car Badges to the date of our meeting, 12.11.2021.

If you have not yet ordered you copies of this excellent calendar, with so much hanging on its success, Then please do very soon. Easily achieved by contacting allmorgansdayblenheim@gmail.com

I am tucked away in this corner for two reasons. The popularity of The White Hart meant that the car park was log jammed with local cars.

Secondly, it enabled me to get this unobstructed photo of The Green Goddess and The White Hart together.

We were fortunate not to be given a table in the busy restaurant and our corner under the stairs was perfect.

The view from our table. I would soon need to be investigating those stairs having been on the road for an hour, mostly along the M27 at 50mph due to its conversion to a Not So Smart Motorway.

I normally like to take photos of the individual art on display but today would have to be just a few quick snaps.

The view from the top of the stairs.

Just around the next corner, my destination.

Fortunately empty, allowing my usual couple of quick snaps of the facilities. Being sad as I am, It's just something I try to do. Sorry!

Interesting prints adorn the walls.

Artwork everywhere. Even in The Smallest Room.

Meeting over we spot a vehicle we just could not ignore.

When a Roadster 100 owner decides to move on we rarely know in what direction. However, one recent transition was towards simplicity via his recently acquired 'Fergie' tractor.

Even our Register Founder owned one once and regularly used it when collecting the Sunday Newspapers from the village shop.

On closer inspection, it appears that Terry could also be easily swayed.

If only it would start! A quick run around the field would have been fun.

Plenty of all around visibility, including home comforts with the water cooled saddle.

Then we spot the original Morganesque  broken Radiator Hose Probably also waiting for its Mulfab/ Sifab aluminium radiator.

OK Sam, the secret is out! Now we know how to start it!

Sadly, it was time to leave and little Fergie had to be abandoned to its field once more.

A 'Save the Fergie Tractors' campaign goes through my mind as many similar versions lounge unloved in the play areas of Pubs and Garden Centres around the country.

Happy Days and it didn't rain,  so Roof Down for another enjoyable run homeward.
