The Beeches is owned and run by the City of London.
Every Mayor of The City plants a new tree there in the massive Beech Wood. It has some lovely walks.
Parking is free in the week and £2 at weekends.
In the Afternoon, the pangs of Mog got the better of me so out we went for a 30 mile round trip to Denham, Amersham and Great Missenden before returning via Penn Village.
