Wenlock is still Alive and Well In Beaconsfield

Yesterday our Wenlock Statue had been bent over by some of the local ne'er-do-wells.

In the True Olympic Spirit, this morning, if a little bemused, it was upright and ready to roll once again.

Originally, we had a Mandeville, being near to Stoke Mandeville, the Home of the Paralympics, but he was needed at Dorney Lake during the Paralympic Rowing.

  1. Today (Tuesday) someone has stolen Wenlock and just left the concrete base. There is a cctv camera nearby so lets hope the perpetrator has been spotted an will be caught.
